Cincinnati, OH— Advantech Corp. reports that its Industrial Automation Group has extended its robust IPPC series with its IPPC-9120G, which is a rugged 12.1-in., SVGA, TFT, LCD display computer. Constructed with a stainless steel chassis and a heavy-duty aluminum front panel, IPPC-9120G also has strengthened glass that protects the front panel from shock. Two PCI/ISA expansion slots provide expansion capability for special-function add-on boards, which also can be used for Advantech’s motion cards or I/O cards for digital, analog, or special communication requirements. The backdoor allows easy maintenance and comes with a lock for better security. IPPC-9120G also supports an optional PCMCIA wireless LAN adapter. Optional mounting accessories are available including swing arms, panels, racks or other industrial equipment.

IPPC-9120G is also available with a resistive touchscreen, which is named IPPC-9120G-R.
