AlterSys buys CJ International, Transysoft

AlterSys (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) announced Aug. 21 at ISA Expo/2000 that it will acquire CJ International (Grenoble, France), maker of ISaGRAF IEC 61131-3 industrial control software, and sister company Transysoft (Hampton, N.H.), which is CJ's master distributor in North and South America. Introduced in 1990, ISaGRAF was designed to bridge the gap between microcomputer systems and PLCs.

AlterSys (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) announced Aug. 21 at ISA Expo/2000 that it will acquire CJ International (Grenoble, France), maker of ISaGRAF IEC 61131-3 industrial control software, and sister company Transysoft (Hampton, N.H.), which is CJ’s master distributor in North and South America. Introduced in 1990, ISaGRAF was designed to bridge the gap between microcomputer systems and PLCs. ISaGRAF includes web-enabling technologies for monitoring processes locally or remotely. ISaGRAF will meet the AlterSys’ need for embedded automation components.
