AnadigmDesigner 2 version 2.5 EDA tool for designing, implementing, and testing dynamically reconfigurable field-programmable analog arrays (FPAAs) adds flexibility to designing and prototyping such devices. Shrinking code size of configuration datasets by 90%, this version al-lows use of lower-end micrcontroller companion devices in FPAA implementations to signifi-cantly reduce the cost of software-controlled analog solutions. A new Visual C++ prototyping tool makes it easier to prototype dynamically reconfigurable FPAAs using the Anadigmvortex development system. Other features include a streamlined user interface and an enhanced AnadigmFilter tool.
