Ann Arbor, Mich. —Visual Logic Controller (VLC) Version 3.5 includes a new method for incorporating diagnostics into control programs. The new version also incorporates Execution Tails, Remote Programming and monitoring, and an InstaWatch Window. The VLC Diagnostic Wizard is similar to familiar Microsoft Windows wizards, using a simple "fill in the blank" menu.
Ann Arbor, Mich. —Visual Logic Controller (VLC) Version 3.5 includes a new method for incorporating diagnostics into control programs. The new version also incorporates Execution Tails, Remote Programming and monitoring, and an InstaWatch Window. The VLC Diagnostic Wizard is similar to familiar Microsoft Windows wizards, using a simple “fill in the blank” menu. The flowchart logic and messages required to perform the diagnostics are generated automatically. Execution Tails displays the execution paths of flowcharts both instantly and historically. InstaWatch Window allows a user to click on a flowchard element and instantly view both the block contents and tag status. Remote Programming provides the ability to access any VLC on the network for the purpose of programming and debugging from a remote location.
