Bosch Rexroth AG to purchase German companies

Bosch Rexroth AG will acquire Interlit Joistgen GmbH of Cologne, Germany. The company develops and markets systems for cooling and lubrication technology, including machine tools used under the Interlit brand name.

Lohr, Germany –  Bosch Rexroth AG will acquire Interlit Joistgen GmbH of Cologne, Germany. The company develops and markets systems for cooling and lubrication technology, including machine tools used under the Interlit brand name.Rexroth will also acquire the associated production company MSG Maschinen und Stahlbau GmbH, headquartered in Joachimsthal, Germany. The contract was signed last month in Basel, Switzerland. Purchase terms, subject to antitrust approval, will remain confidential.In 2007, Interlit Joistgen, with a workforce of around 20 employees, posted sales of more than 13 million Euros. MSG sales were approximately seven million Euros; the company has about 80 employees.“With the acquisition of the two companies, we are strengthening our business with the machine tool industry and are reacting to the increased customer demand for single-source complete solutions,” said Albert Hieronimus, chairman of the executive board.In the future, Rexroth will offer the complete supply unit of machine tools.
