Bosch Rexroth will acquire MSG Maschinen und Stahlbau GmbH, a developer and marketer of systems for cooling and lubrication technology, especially in machine tools.
Hoffman Estates, IL – Bosch Rexroth will acquire MSG Maschinen und Stahlbau GmbH, a developer and marketer of systems for cooling and lubrication technology, especially under the Interlit brand name for machine tools. The recently announced
purchase of Cologne-based Interlit Joistgen GmbH by Bosch Rexroth AG
, will be complemented by the addition of this associated production company in Joachimsthal, Germany. The purchase is subject to antitrust approval; terms were not disclosed.
‘”With the acquisition of the two companies, we are strengthening our business with the machine tool industry and are reacting to the increased customer demand for single-source complete solutions,” said Albert Hieronimus, chairman of the executive board. Rexroth plans to offer the complete supply unit of machine tools. With Interlit systems, cooling and lubrication supply and swarf removal add to the hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric supply.
In 2007, Interlit Joistgen reported sales of more than 13 million Euros, with a workforce of around 20 employees. MSG’s sales were approximately 7 million Euros, with about 80 employees.
