CE’s Controller Capability Survey

Oak Brook, Ill.— To help research two feature articles scheduled to appear in the January and February 2002 issues, Control Engineering is inviting manufacturers to complete a survey and share their knowledge about up to three controllers. The information provided will be used in three ways:

• The January 2001 article, being developed and written by senior editor Dave Harrold, will address controller capabilities as reported by manufactures;

• The February article, being developed and written by Gary Mintchell, addresses nuances of controller applications; and

• All manufacturer-provided controller information will be assembled into a matrix. The entire matrix will be made available online. Portions of the matrix may appear as part of the two feature articles.
