The goal is never to stop the pilot, but to roll it out to 150 suppliers over time.”
is involved in a “Tag It Easy” pilot conducted by Metro Group , a major European retailer. Checkpoint is furnishing pre-commissioned RFID tags to 30 key Asian suppliers that don’t have the capability to print their own. Metro Group is seeking to optimize efficiency and transparency in the international flow of goods.
