CIM Automation, Siemens partner

M.C. Dean Inc .’s CIM Automation Systems Group, with over 17 years in automation, has been named to the Siemens Solutions Partner Program. CIM specializes in hardware- and software-based industrial-control solutions, including programmable logic controllers, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, coordinated drive and motion systems, and human-machine interfaces.

Siemens Solutions Partner Program is the third industry certification garnered by CIM in recent years. Others include UL-508A certification, for its panel assembly shop; and Square D Top Integrator.

CIM Automation Systems group was formed through M.C. Dean’s April 2003 acquisition of CIM Associates Inc. CIM employs approximately 30 engineers and 30 technicians at six locations in Virginia.
