New Type-595XP explosion-proof current-to-pressure I/P transducer provides precise regulation necessary for accurate and repeatable control of actuated valves. With its small size and light weight, the device is stable with ability to tolerate shock, vibration and position changes. A low mass control circuit provides reliable linear output in difficult applications at an economical cost. Output ranges include 3-15, 3-27, and 6-30 psig. Flow capacity is 2.4 scfm, with air consumption only 0.1 scfm. The Type-595XP holds agency approvals from Factory Mutual (FM) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) as intrinsically safe and explosion-proof. It is also compliant with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Applications include booster stations in remote locations, which often do not have access to compressed plant air for operation of pneumatic valve actuators, as well as valve control where the environment can be hazardous. www.controlair.com Control Air
