HBM’s C10 line of compressive force transducers are hermetically sealed and have an IP68 rating, which allows them to be used in environments where dirt and moisture can be a problem. The C10 is available with various nominal forces ranging from 2.5 kN to 1 MN, in accuracy classes ranging from 0.03 to 0.06. The C10 transducers have a very low temperature coefficient. The zero point temperature coefficient, TC0, is 75 ppm/10 K. The C10 transducers have a variety of available options including a double-bridge option as well as many different cables and connectors. Altogether, the C10 transducers have 2,304 different configurations. Applications for the C10 transducers range from propulsion testing, end-of-line testing, and any application where precision force in harsh environments is required.
