PPC 64G single-board computer uses real-time processing and simultaneous uninterrupted dual-channel Gigabit Ethernet. It features maximum isolation and data flow rate made possible by large on-board, dual-ported packet memory tied to dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Dual ports isolate the processor from data storage and heavy overheads associated with the near immediate gathering of packets of Ethernet TCP data. SBC provides dual PMC sites for optimum design flexibility and includes 2 Mbytes of external L3 SBSRAM cache, from 512 Mbytes to 1 Gbyte of onboard SDRAM, 64 Kbytes of NOVRAM and 128 Mbytes of program flash.
