The new Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) website, www.controlsys.org, is designed to serve two audiences – integrators (both current and prospective members) and buyers of control system integration services.

Visitors to the new website’s homepage can self-select their audience type. The “client” side of the new site is designed to educate buyers about the control system integration process, the benefits of retaining CSIA members, and the added security and value CSIA certification brings to control system integration projects.

Content for prospective clients includes information about the types of services a control system integrator performs in featured industries, along with case studies and a list of CSIA-certified members who work in that particular industry. Visitors can search all industries by choosing a drop-down menu that directs them to all industries identified in “Find an Integrator” search engine.

Throughout the site, visitors will find a red flag in the upper right corner that takes them directly to the search form for Find an Integrator. No matter where a visitor enters the site – which could be anywhere the search engine leads them – CSIA wants visitors to easily locate the right integrator for their project.

If you are an integrator member and do not see your company’s name in the search results, you need to complete your company profile. Step-by-step instructions for completing the profile appear in the Connected Community library entitled Connected Community Nuts and Bolts. Only the primary CSIA contact person can update the profile.

On the integrator side of the new site, you can expect leaner, more focused content written with the no-time-to-waste integrator in mind. News, events, and information about best practices and the certification process appear here, along with a link to the CSIA Connected Community.

CSIA staff, assisted by a marketing and public relations firm, will be continuously updating the site’s content with newly published articles, case studies and updates about the annual conference and other association activity. Promotion of the site to the public begins in early July 2012.
