Steeplechase VLC 7.0 further simplifies the creation of control projects with a number of software enhancements. Connection tree and Connection Editor, a method for defining devices, simplifies device and I/O definition and maintenance. Technique is backward-compatible with projects developed under older versions of Steeplechase VLC Control Designer. Connection tree lets users add and visualize defined interface cards, devices, and I/O tags. It is linked to the Connection Editor that provides interface and device definition and configuration pages. It also lets users map I/O tags to available device points. Version 7.0 is available on the company’s ILC 350 and S-Max Series of embedded controllers.
