Corporate merger to enhance technical education portfolio internationally

Festo Didactic, the education division of the Festo Group, has acquired Lab-Volt, a Canadian company that specializes in equipment and solutions in technical training and education sectors.

Courtesy: Festo DidacticThe German-based provider of technical education solutions, Festo Didactic, acquires the U.S.-Canadian company Lab-Volt. The two companies’ portfolios will be integrated according to a joint portfolio and branding strategy. This merger will result in a stronger presence for both companies in the international market for technical education. Festo Didactic is a global education company in technical education with focus on learning systems and training services. Lab-Volt specializes in equipment and solutions in the technical training and continuing education sectors, focusing on electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering, and telecommunications. As part of the deal, Lab-Volt will be subsequently integrated into the Festo Group.
