Control Station, Inc. csTUNER Powered by Control Station

The csTuner powered by Control Station is an innovation introduced by Yokogawa Corporation of America to further simplify PID control and optimize plant performance. Product is based on award-winning PID tuning technology from Control Station. It integrates seamlessly with Yokogawa’s enterprise DCS solutions. The csTuner software leverages patent-pending capabilities that eliminate the need for steady-state operation prior to tuning a plant’s PID controllers. Process plants are inherently dynamic due to multivariable interactions and innumerable disturbances. Ensuring that all elements of a process are “quiet” and stable prior to bump testing is often impractical and sometimes impossible. The csTuner software accurately models transitional and oscillatory process data, said to provide a competitive advantage through process optimization and control. Yokogawa’s DCS systems feature a flexible and open architecture, designed for compatibility with a manufacturer’s existing production systems. This open architecture provides a framework that readily draws upon field networks and results in a fully integrated production control system.
