Coreco changed its name to Dalsa Coreco and will operate as a separate business unit under Dalsa Corp. Keith Reuben, president and CEO of Coreco, will continue as president of the new business unit and all senior management and staff remain in place, the companies said.

“Strategies and sales objectives remain the same; there will be no changes to the distribution channel, and we will continue to support all camera makers,” the company said. A new logo incorporates both names. Contacts to customers are expected to remain the same.

Control Engineering in February reported: “ Dalsa purchasing Coreco for about $72 million .”

The deal was announced as complete on April 26. Total consideration paid by Dalsa was approximately $73.4 million, comprised of $35 million in cash and the issue by Dalsa of an aggregate of approximately 1.9 million Dalsa common shares.
