Danaher buys G&L Motion Control from Thyssenkrupp

Washington, DC—As part of its recent quarterly earnings call, Danaher Corp. says it recently bought the $15-million G&L Motion Control division of Thyssenkrupp AG.

Washington, DC— As part of its recent quarterly earnings call, Danaher Corp. says it recently bought the $15-million G&L Motion Control division of Thyssenkrupp AG. Danaher says this latest purchase complements its acquisition of MEI last year.

“G&L represents an important addition to the portfolio, so as to improve our control capability in these important verticals,” adds Danaher in its earning statement.

G&L specializes in motion control for printing, converting, and packaging applications. G&L adds that it manufactures industrial controls, including programmable industrial controls, servo motors and drives, operator interfaces, and software to provide single-source control solutions.
