ION DC Brush Drive provides network connectivity, power amplification, and advanced motion control features in a rugged, easy-to-use package. Based on the company’s Magellan motion processor, the drive is available for dc brush, brushless dc, or step motors. Features include CANbus and serial communications, profile generation, servo compensation, stall detection, and digital torque control. It operates at up to 40 kHz with an output capability of 500 W at 56 V and measures 4.3 x 2.9 x 1.5 in.
