At Colorado State University, engineering students built an electric motorized mountainboard for their mechanical engineering class. Design News Gadget Freak Case File #140 shows the souped-up motor-driven electric skateboard .
The motorized skateboard conquers hills using an electric motor and handheld speed control. LCD screen and battery level indicator are included.
