Hubertus, WI – PlantTriage is an ExperTune software application that allows developing and operating against performance baselines and ”not to exceed” thresholds. Using PlantTriage templates, groups of loops, units, or entire plants can be monitored and compared against the ”best operator’s, best day” performance. Because PlantTriage looks at performance assessments including average error, variability, and Inverse Harris Index, rather than set points or operating points, relatively stable operations are able to use the same baseline over broad production ranges. Using PlantTriage’s time window, default templates may be customized to meet specific baseline and threshold performance requirements including selecting minimum, maximum, average, X number of standard deviations, and fixed values. PlantTriage continually monitors the defined loops, units, and/or process, trends any assessment against its baseline, and permits prioritizing loops needing attention based on how close assessments are to thresholds.
