PSoC Express development tool for Cypress’ PSoC mixed-signal arrays lets system engineers develop microcontroller-based designs without using assembly language or C programming. Tool is said to enable new designs to be created, simulated, and programmed to the target PSoC device in hours or days instead of weeks or months. PSoC mixed signal arrays are programmable SOCs (systems on chip) that integrate a microcontroller and the analog and digital components that surround it in an embedded system. A PSoC device can integrate as many as 100 peripheral functions and a microcontroller, saving time, space, power consumption, and cost.
