Smart-Trak Series C100M digital mass flow controller (MFC) for larger gas flows from Sierra Instruments Inc . is said to offer end-users and OEMs flexibility, an easy-to-use interface, rugged stainless-steel construction, and digital performance at flow rates up to 200 slpm (standard liters per minute). Device uses a patented, inherently linear design with no curve fitting to produce accuracy of

Dial-A-Gas feature and Pilot Module interface allow critical parameters to be changed in the field with no sacrifice in performance. Microprocessor is programmed for ten gases commonly used in biotech, pharmaceutical, analytical, and research applications. Other gases may be specified to create a custom instrument. Dial-A-Gas is available via push buttons on the pilot module or from a PC. Instrument comes with Smart-Trak software and connecting cable so that gases and other operating parameters can be viewed, configured, or changed from any PC running Microsoft Windows.

An RS-232 output and choice of four user-selectable analog outputs for remote monitoring and OEM applications. Small footprint permits easy drop-in replacement for any mass flow controller. Original low flow size for flow rates to 50 slpm measures 3 x 1 x 5 in. New larger size for flow rates to 200 slpm is 4.5 x 1.5 x 6 in. Series is suitable for any clean gas flow, including toxics and corrosives.
