Heidenhain’s ND 200 Series Digital Readouts (DROs) host multiple inputs and offer flexibility in configuration. The single-axis ND 200 DROs come in two variants: ND 280 features standard functions (with monochrome flat screen) and ND 287 (with color flat screen) is modular and allows up to four inputs. ND 287 incorporates three additional axis modules. Two are analog to permit the connection of analog sensors and purely serial EnDat 2.2 units to allow for the connection and use of absolute encoders. The DRO can be integrated into Ethernet. SPC (statistical process control) provides the ability to write up to 10,000 measured values to an internal memory and evaluate them statistically. The ND 200s come with a card for gauge hookup (common use). Features include soft keys, and the ability to design functional equations to manage multiple interconnected axes. www.heidenhain.com Heidenhain Corp.
