DIN-rail optical isolator for encoders

Goleta, Calif. —Reportedly the first of its kind, this DIN-rail mountable, optically isolated, electronic module is designed for use with incremental encoders. Isolation circuitry acts as an interface to provide electrically robust encoder output to receiving electronics. It can eliminate ground loops, reduce signal degradation from long cable runs, or help distribute an encoder signal to multiple input devices.
