The next generation of rugged, 10.4-in. LCD monitor from Datalux Corp. is offered in two models:XG10 and SG10. Both feature compact, all-metal enclosures to be applicable in a wide range of uses and industries.

The monitors are designed for use with almost any computer system, especially and including the full range of Datalux systems and keyboards. The new models can be installed on heavy equipment, used in semiconductor manufacturing, or integrated into banking and security applications. They are sealed to prevent penetration of dust or other contaminants. Features include a high-bright monitor that is readable in daylight and front panel controls for precise dimming control.

The XG10 and SG10 have native resolutions of XGA and SVGA, respectively, and offer optional touchscreen capability to provide easy interface-to-user software applications. Either may be ordered with a serial (RS-232) or USB 2.0 touchscreen interface. USB touchscreen interface monitors provide a local USB 2.0 port with integrated audio and the capability of connecting an additional device, such as a keyboard.

The monitors accept input voltages from 8 to 18 V dc and accommodate the use of vehicular (12 V dc) power. The XG10 and SG10 are VESA 75mm mount compatible; desk mounts and swing-arm mounts are also available.

Datalux monitors are used in diverse industries and a multitude of user applications, including RFID/container tracking applications in ports; semiconductor manufacturing; rail inspection equipment; industrial control applications; construction; security (video monitor, detection equipment); in-vehicle use; heavy equipment; and more.
