drive.web is an Internet-accessible distributed control technology that uses TCP/IP over Ethernet to provide robust connectivity among ac and dc drives, remote I/O, PLCs, operator stations, and SCADA systems. Cost effective, says the manufacturer, for systems of any size or complexity, it incorporates an extensive library of drive control function blocks for a wide range of applications, and supports online and offline programming. drive.web smarty is a DIN-rail mounting distributed process controller with I/O operations including 7 analog/digital universal inputs, 2 analog outputs, 3 digital I/O points, 2 inputs for bi-directional encoders with marker, and an RS-232 or RS-485 port. It can also be used as a stand-alone processor.
