DVT launches faster, color machine vision sensors

DVT Corp. introduced July 31 a new version of its machine vision sensor, Legend 540, which its reports is eight times faster than its existing SmartImage sensors. Legend 540 features built-in Ethernet connectivity and an Hitachi SH4 processor, which achieves an ultra-fast image processing rate. This reduces digitizing time to 13 msec, which allows the vision sensor to be used in even the fastest manufacturing lines.
