Eaton renames industrial, commercial control, Cutler-Hammer division
Cleveland, OH—Eaton Corp. announced Sept. 22 that it has renamed its Industrial and Commercial Controls business and its Cutler-Hammer organizational unit as Eaton Electrical.
Cleveland, OH— Eaton Corp. announced Sept. 22 that it has renamed its Industrial and Commercial Controls business and its Cutler-Hammer organizational unit as Eaton Electrical .
Following its acquisition and integration of Delta plc’s electrical division in January 2003, Eaton Electrical has increased its ability to serve multinational customers. Eaton Electrical presently has manufacturing and sales operations in North America, Latin America, Western Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
“The Eaton Electrical name allows us to emphasize the company’s solid reputation on a global scale, reinforcing our rich history and leading position in the electrical business,” says Randy Carson, Eaton Electrical’s senior VP and group executive. ”Our product brands Cutler-Hammer, Heinemann, MEM, Holec and others will be able to grow under Eaton Electrical’s group umbrella. We recognize the strong awareness of these brands, and will continue using them in our products, marketing and sales efforts.”
Eaton Electrical also offers electrical distribution and control products, solutions and services that meet global standards, such as those of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Electrical Manufacturing Association (NEMA).
