Hardware - Integrated HMI controllers: The EZTouchPLC Jr. is the smallest TFT color touch panel HMI with a built-in programmable logic controller and I/O used for automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery at a factory. EZAutomation, a division of AVG, is proud to introduce its newest HMI-PLC combo unit, the EZTouchPLC Jr., the smallest thin-film-transistor (TFT) touch panel with a built-in programmable logic controller (PLC) and input-output (I/O) connections.  This all-in-one control solution minimizes wiring in a small space, measuring just 4.08-in. x 5.06-in. x 1.87-in. deep, saving significant space in a control cabinet. The 3.5-in. TFT color screen, with 65,000 colors, includes a white LED back-lit display which can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications. It’s temperature specs range from 32 F to 131 F. The EZTouchPLC Jr. comes in five variations of fixed I/O depending on the application requirements. Models include: 8 dc inputs and 6 dc outputs; 8 dc inputs and 6 dc outputs, 4 analog in, 4 analog out (voltage) with 12-bit resolution; 16 dc inputs and 8 dc outputs; or 16 dc inputs, 8 dc outputs, 2 analog in, 2 analog out (voltage or current) with 12-bit resolution. 

The EZTouchPLC Jr. may be compact in size, but has all the bells and whistles of standard HMI and PLCs offered in today’s market. The HMI portion has includes animation, trending and advanced graphics of high end HMIs. The PLC portion includes high-end mathematical functions for complex process monitoring and control. For easy programming, it uses one programming environment for the PLC (ladder logic) and HMI application development. Data logging and recipe features are built-in, along with auto-tune proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control. Ethernet for programming and remote access are also available as options.       

In summary, the EZTouchPLC Jr. starting at an affordable price, allows one to automate machinery with high end HMI and PLC functionality at the cost of simple push buttons and relays. To top it all off, it is made in the USA.
