Eclipse-based IDE captures two prestigious awards
Express Logic’s royalty-free BenchX IDE wins Venture Development Corp.’s Best in Show and eg3.com’s Editor’s Tech Choice awards
San Diego, CA — Express Logic , a provider of royalty-free real-time operating systems (RTOS), received two prestigious awards from industry editors and analysts for its BenchX Eclipse-based IDE for embedded development. Venture Development Corp. (VDC) awarded BenchX its “Best in Show” award at the 2008 Embedded Systems Conference–Silicon Valley, and eg3.com gave Express Logic its “Editor’s Tech Choice” award in recognition of the “significant value BenchX represents as a new product for embedded developers.”

Each year, VDC awards its highly coveted “Embeddy” to the product judged to be the “Best in Show” at the Embedded Systems Conference–Silicon Valley. ESC-SV is said to be the largest North American conference focused on the embedded systems industry.
