Elpro adds lifetime warranty to industrial wireless products

Elpro Technologies has initiated a lifetime warranty for its products manufactured from Jan. 1, 2005. Located in Brisbane, Australia, Elpro manufactures wireless products for the control and automation industry and has been internationally certified as compliant with the ISO9001 quality standard since 1996.

“This is a clear statement to the market that Elpro has the utmost faith in its staff, and in its design and manufacturing systems,” says Graham Moss, Elpro’s president. “We have been providing high quality wireless products for almost 25 years in more than 50 countries. We understand the market, and we understand the concern industrial customers feel in considering new technologies, such as wireless. A lifetime warranty signals to our customers that we are serious in providing them long-term reliable solutions.”

Moss adds that the lifetime warranty on manufacturing and component defects is limited to the serviceable life of each product, constrained only by the availability of electronic components. “Elpro’s policy is to forward purchase components to service products for 10 years after they become non-current.” However, Elpro further guarantees that if it is unable to repair or replace a defective product for whatever reason within three years of original purchase, Elpro will replace the product with another equivalent product.
