“The Interface Concept switches support full-wire speed L2 bridging and IP routing with L2-L4 Access List for classification, filtering and prioritization. The queue priority eight levels combine with quality of service (QoS) policy to make it easier to tune jitter in critical applications. Also included are 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with a full-wire speed switching capacity of 37 Mpps.

Twenty Gigabit Ethernet ports are routed on P0 & P2 rear connectors; four more Gigabit Ethernet channels are available on the front or via the P2. The front option provides four 1000BT (RJ-45) ports or, optionally, 1000SX/LX fiber channels. Switches are fully managed and can be monitored from a browser, a remote application, a CLI, or SNMP.

Switchware software provides Layer 3 functions that allow static and dynamic protocols (RIP, OSPF), IP routing, proxy-ARP and DHCP-relay. IP protocols are carried out by the processor, and forwarding by a full-wire speed L3 engine router. Switches can be used in environments with operating ranges from standard, extended rugged, and conduction-cooled grades.

Prices start at $ 5,200 in low quantities.
