Emerson buys Solartron Mobrey to expand process measurement portfolio

To expand its portfolio of measurement technologies and services for process industries, Emerson Process Management reports that it recently bought Solartron Mobrey from the U.K.-based Roxboro Group PLC. Mobrey's measurement technologies include level, density, viscosity, and flow computer products.

To expand its portfolio of measurement technologies and services for process industries, Emerson Process Management reports that it recently bought Solartron Mobrey from the U.K.-based Roxboro Group PLC. Mobrey’s measurement technologies include level, density, viscosity, and flow computer products. The company will be renamed Mobrey Measurement, and will complement Emerson’s established measurement brands, which include Rosemount, Micro Motion, Brooks, Saab Rosemount, and Daniel. Emerson adds its acquisition includes all of Mobrey’s technologies, services, manufacturing facilities, and employees.
