Alastair Orchard, VP digital enterprise at Siemens Digital Industries and Rahul Garg, vice president of Industrial Machinery and the SMB Program at Siemens Digital Industries Software, performed a demo of an end-to-end solution using a robot that is augmented through the metaverse, digitalization and programming during the Siemens Realize Live event in Las Vegas.
During the demo, Orchard and Garg explain the process from one end to the other and how all the steps involved in the process can help improve day-to-day operations for manufacturers. They explain how the programming is customizable and can help users develop and tailor tasks for specific operations. The metaverse’s role is also explained and how it can give manufacturers a better insights overall.
