Entivity’s new Studio 7.2 software supports Phoenix’s CE devices
Ann Arbor, MI—Entivity Inc. released Oct. 2 its Entivity Studio Version 7.2 software, which includes a new Microsoft Windows CE target and now supports CP306, CP310 and CP312 devices from Phoenix Contact (Harrisburg, PA).
Ann Arbor, MI— Entivity Inc. released Oct. 2 its Entivity Studio Version 7.2 software. Studio was recently recognized as one of eight Grand Prize winners in the Microsoft Office System Partner Solution Builder Contest 2003 for its use of Visio for control programming and HMI development. Entivity looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Visio. Entivity supplies PC-based automation and control software.
The company reports that Studio has many enhancements, including a new Microsoft Windows CE target. Following requests for display support on Windows CE controllers, Studio now supports CP306, CP310 and CP312 devices from Phoenix Contact (Harrisburg, PA). These Windows CE-based controllers have 6-, 10- or 12-in. displays. Besides supporting Phoenix’s CE Controllers, Studio includes a new graphical interface to ‘auto-update’ all CE controllers. It also includes modifications to supported I/O drivers, including:
A new Modbus Plus driver;
An updated Automationdirect.com Ethernet driver to support various new modules;
Updated MEI motion driver;
Added support for Opto 22’s Snap I/O;
Improvements to the Modbus TCP and Modbus serial drivers;
Updates to its DesignCenter flowchart logic and HMI development tool;
HMI screens that can now execute VBA code;
SQL block that supports array data items;
HMI screens that support background animations; and
Newly designed compare blocks with more operations.
