ESC 2006 is coming soon, April 3-7
Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley, the premiere forum for the latest developments and products in this technology sector, will take place April 3-7, 2006, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. This is a change in location for the 18thannual event, which had run for a number of years in San Francisco. One unchanging tradition, however, is the combination of ESC classes and tutorials plus an exhibition featuring cutting-edge products from leading companies.
The Conference part of the show will offer practical, how-to classes numbering near 200, designed for the needs of embedded systems developers and engineers. Design Seminar (April 4-6) will update attendees on enabling topics, such as analog technology, Linux, DSP, power management, and wireless networking. Hardware focused Microprocessor Summit (April 3) will serve as a forum for major semiconductor companies to discuss latest chip products and near-future developments.
The exhibition (April 4-6) will display the latest hardware, software, and development tools—along with product demonstrations. As of this writing, some 250 companies are slated to display their latest products and technology on the show floor.
Embedded Systems Conference is co-locating with D2M 2006 (April 4-6), concentrating on design, power, test and measurement, RoHS and environmental technologies, embedded, and component sectors.
Event keynoter on April 4 will be Dean Kaman, inventor of the Segway human transporter.
