Boston MA – Applied Data Systems (ADS) demonstrated an embedded HMI/SCADA solution at ESC featuring InduSoft web Studio (IWS) running on ADS’ Graphics Client Plus, a RISC-based StrongARM system.

InduSoft IWS allows users to access a Web browser for real-time, dynamic, and animated graphic screens, trends, alarms, reports, and recipes. It includes an embedded Web server for integrated delivery and facilitates automated data exchange using XML, as well as, using ODBC, DDE, NetDDE, OPC, or TCP/IP protocols.

Integration was performed by HMW Enterprises , an authorized reseller of ADS, InduSoft, and other technologies.

ADS also introduced the Bitsy-X, a single board computer using Intel’s RISC-based XScale microprocessor. It leverages Intel’s 400MHz PXA250 and its 3- x 5-in. size includes a USB port, three serial ports, ADSmartIO, -40 degC to 85 degC operating temperature range, and partitioning for optimized power usage.
