UEIModbus Cube from United Electronic Industries (UEI) is a compact, rugged, Ethernet based data acquisition and control interface that communicates with a host computer or PLC over Modbus TCP. Product functions as a Modbus slave easily accessed by any software client acting as a Modbus master. Most popular HMI software supports the Modbus protocol. UEIModbus 600 is 4 x 4 x 5.8 in. and supports up to 150 analog inputs or 288 digital I/O; UEIModbus 300 is 4 x 4 x 4 in. and offers 75 analog or 144 digital I/O channels. Interface is suited for a variety of industrial monitoring and control applications. It has an operating temperature range from -40 to 85 °C and is capable of withstanding 50g of shock and 5g of steady vibration to handle most demanding environments. UEIModbus is said to be applicable as a complete I/O system or an adjunct to many PLC based applications.
