Middletown, PA —Wireless Ethernet radio products from Phoenix Contact provide wireless communication said to be “truly secure” and offer “an unprecedented level of data protection.” The 802.11 a/b/g industrial radios feature 802.11i/WPA2 security with AES-CCMP and 802.1x advanced security measures.

Simple, IT-friendly embedded software gives any network PC with a Web browser and proper identification the ability to configure devices. No software installation is required. The radios support three modes—access point, client, and bridge/repeater—and can be used in many types of applications.

Line comes in wall-mount and compact DIN-rail-mount versions and supports 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Built-in RS-232/422/485 device servers allow the integration of serial devices onto the wireless Ethernet network.
