Adalet Wireless’ explosion-proof, battery-powered, wireless transmission system is designed for measuring and transmitting temperature and pressure signals from a Division 1 area (Groups B, C, D). A version is also available for non-explosion-proof applications where rugged, waterproof protection is required.

Adalet’s wireless system comprises: an explosion-proof, thermocouple, RTD, or pressure transducer inputs, self-contained lithium battery, radio transmitter, and antenna. An included receiver unit can be installed in any cast-aluminum, fiberglass, or stainless-steel Adalet enclosure.

Other features include: signal conditioning for thermocouple, RTD, or pressure transducer inputs; up to 3,000-ft range with no line of sight; no set up or programming required; data transmit interval set at factory in the range of 1-60 seconds; frequency-hopping, spread-spectrum technology; license-free 902-928-MHz ISM band; factory adjustable transmit power from 1 mW to 1 W; available outputs; RS-232, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V; glass dome for maximum RF-signal transmission and visual inspection of status LEDs; and two,

Adalet says its wireless system can be used in many applications, such as: tank levels, PLC/RTU extensions; mills/quarries/factories; pump control; sensor monitoring; waste/wastewater; utilities; oil and gas; irrigation systems; and petrochemicals.

It has the following approvals: UL 1203, 50; CSA C22.2-30, C22.2-94; NEMA 4X, 7BCD, 9EFG; CSA -E79-0, -E79-1; and ANSI/UL 60079-0, 60079-1.
