Minneapolis, Minn .—Banner Engineering introduced Explosion-proof enclosures for its 20, 24, and 28 in. Mini-screen and Micro-screen safety light screen emitters and receivers. Enclosures provide protection against hazardous atmospheres by eliminating the possibility of ignition by system components. They are intended for use in environments that include flammable gases, liquids or dust, such as paint booths and petrochemical industry. The housing’s interior is predrilled and tapped for mounting hardware. Standard 3/4 in. NPSM access is provided at the bottom of the enclosure for user-supplied explosion-proof conduit and fittings. www.bannerengineering.com
