FEA software streamlines training

QuickField 5.2 finite-element analysis (FEA) software features new analysis options and reduces effort required for initial training from minimal to almost none. Microsoft Windows-based tool for electromagnetic, heat transfer, and stress analysis expands the wide range of problems solved by the program, adding ac electric analysis. Also included in the new version is Spatial Harmonic Browser, a utility implemented as a postprocessor add-in that lets a user calculate and view harmonics for any parameter plotted along the arbitrary contour. New utility also ensures import of SolidWorks sketches directly into QuickField model and features an extremely fast and powerful mesh generator.
