“The 2008 Flash Memory Summit ,” says 2008 conference chairperson Tom Coughlin, president of Coughlin Associates, “will be bigger than ever. There will be exciting sessions, workshops, tutorials, and heated discussions, along with a sizeable exhibit area and coveted company and product prizes.”
The 2008 Flash Memory Summit will be held at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara, CA, on Aug. 12-14, 2008. Those interested in presenting are invited to submit abstracts by April 25, 2008. For more information, visit the conference’s Call for Presentations .
The program will provide attendees with practical information on the current state of Flash memory and its applications. The conference is open to everyone involved in the design, development, integration, marketing, use, or support of Flash memory, or related hardware, software, or services. Organizers say that the 3-day event will cover the latest topics involving Flash memory, including Flash in computers and enterprise, cards and SSDs, Flash controllers, improvements in storage capacity and reliability, designing with Flash memory, new non-volatile storage technologies, and more, organizers say!
Companies already participating include: Intel, Samsung, SanDisk, Microsoft, Dell, Datalight, PNY, Kingston Memory, SST, STEC, Hagiwara, Smart Modular, Micron, Toshiba, Xiotech, and Seagate.
