Mequon, Wis— PowerFlex 70 AC drive, the lowest horsepower member of the PowerFlex family, aims to meet global OEM and end-user demands for space savings, cost efficiency, reliability, and ratings. Rated at 0.5-20 hp (0.37-15 kW), it offers Volts/Hertz and sensorless vector control, standard 24 V I/O types (6 digital, 2 relay and 2 analog inputs; one analog output), and various communication choices. An integral dynamic brake is standard via an extra IGBT. A detachable operator module streamlines programming, status, and troubleshooting. Quick-start programming includes the eight most commonly used drive parameters; PC-based programming software is also included. Ratings include CSA/cUL, UL, CE Mark, EMC (EN61800-3), and Low-Voltage (EN60204-1 and EN50178). www.rockwellautomation.com .
