Gateways with two Ethernet ports for separate subnets
Three new PLX30 gateways have two separate Ethernet ports that allow protocols to reside on separate subnets
ProSoft Technology’s three new PLX30 gateways feature two independent ports that let each protocol reside on a separate subnet, allowing users to pass information between subnets without changing the end device’s IP address. The gateways support Ethernet/IP to Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP to Siemens industrial Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP to Siemens industrial Ethernet, and other pairs of similar networks. The Ethernet/IP-enabled gateways include an embedded EDS add-on profile.
