General Cable, Panduit to jointly launch structured cabling solutions

Highland Heights, KY; Tinley Park, IL— To provide technology-enabling systems, General Cable Corp. and Panduit recently announced an alliance, and will soon introduce their new PanGen structured cabling solutions for diverse network infrastructure requirements.

The firms say their alliance brings together two leaders in cable and connectivity to provide a comprehensive line of structured cabling solutions. They add their strengths include research and product development, as well as joint marketing and sales programs.

PanGen structured cabling is offered in two copper Category solutions, including PanGen Plus for the open-architecture enterprise market and PanGen Pro for smaller-sized businesses. PanGen Plus solutions are offered with Category 5e and Category 6 cables and connectivity products. PanGen Pro solutions provide Category 5e and minimally compliant Category 6 cables for high quality at an economical installed cost. PanGen systems are backed by technical support, cable management expertise, and a system warranty program.
