Newnan, Ga. —Yokogawa Corp. of America has introduced the Mo-del PZ4000 power analyzer, which will bring a whole new dimension to power measurement and analysis, according to the company. The PZ4000 combines advanced technologies found in the Yokogawa WT series power analyzers and Waveform Processing Oscilloscope into one instrument. Its bandwidth is dc to 2 MHz with a sampling speed of 5 MS/sec, which makes it a solution for power measurement applications in high frequency power electronics and other power conversion devices with complex waveforms. With an acquisition memory of up to 4 Meg Words per channel, RMS value trends of voltage, current, and power can be measured and displayed, as well as a cycle-by-cycle power calculations and trends.
