Minneapolis, MN -To expand its offerings in pressure, force and other sensor areas, as well as add to its wireless capability, Honeywell announced Feb. 12 that its Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) unit is acquiring privately held Sensotec Inc. (Columbus, OH). Though the transaction is subject to regulatory approval, Sensotec is expected to become part of Honeywell’s ACS Sensing and Control unit. Sensotec supplies sensors for measuring pressure, torque, load, temperature, force, acceleration and displacement.
