Freeport, Ill.- Honeywell ‘s sensing and control business recently introduced an enhanced version of its 7866 digital thermal conductivity gas analyzer. Using thermal conductivity principles, 7866 is designed to provide a highly sensitive and accurate analysis of a binary (two-component) gas mixture.

Analyzer enhancements include 1/4-DIN-sized display unit, Modbus communication options, optional remote indicator, and an improved analyzer for single- and triple-range units. The gas analyzer is suited for applications in the power industry, such as electric utilities and power plants at large industrial facilities, as well as dissociated ammonia. 7872 is also designed for easy and convenient calibration of triple-range hydrogen purity service applications.
